On September 16,, our college convened 17 new young teachers this year to hold a symposium. The aim of the symposium is to further promote the training of young teachers. The meeting was presided over by Meng Baoquan, Secretary of the Party Committee. President Yu Zhensheng and Lu Zhiwen, chairman of the labor union of the college attended and spoke at the meeting.
As the new force of school development, young teachers play an important role in the education and teaching of the college. Therefore, the College held this symposium for new young teachers to cultivate young teachers, promote the growth of young teachers and become the backbone of our college as soon as possible.
New teachers spoke freely and shared their personal introduction, scientific research experience and understanding of teachers' profession. Lu Zhiwen, chairman of the labor union of the college, warmly welcomed the young teachers and introduced the college's cultural and sports activities, helping the poor and safeguarding their rights.
President Yu Zhensheng put forward specific requirements for the growth of young teachers, emphasizing that new young teachers should formulate personal career plans, strengthen the study of education and teaching theory, implement the teaching assistant system for young teachers, and clearly require new young teachers to pass six passes in education and teaching practice: teaching materials, lesson preparation, teaching methods, scientific research, routine rules, the basic teaching skills. It also emphasizes that the Party committee and administration of the college will always adhere to the construction of service-oriented leadership. he hopes that the young teachers can speak freely and put forward their own opinions and suggestions on all aspects of the work of the college at the key stage of the reform of the college.
Finally, Meng Baoquan, Secretary of the Party committee, expressed ardent hope for young teachers. He said that the college will make good use of its policy advantages and combine the needs of college teachers to carry out more rich and diversified in-class and out of class activities. He hopes that new young teachers will actively participate in the labor union activities of the college and take this opportunity to increase the friendship between colleagues and deepen mutual understanding, so as to better integrate into the big family of the College of science. He proposed that new teachers must pay more attention to undergraduate teaching, talent training and scientific research in combination with the needs of the national development strategy. We should plan, prepare and cultivate early to produce high-quality products.
